A note from the owner of Alive Safety:

When I was a teenager I came across someone on the sidewalk in medical distress, and the helplessness I felt was overwhelming. It motivated me to get training on how to respond in a medical emergency. I got my First Aid certificate for the first time when I was 15 years old, and went on to work with people who are part of the vulnerable population, as a Care Aid for the elderly as well as people with disabilities. After college I spent several years working as an EMR in the oilfield, and now I work as an EMR on the ambulance in my community.

I am passionate about helping others so I work hard to teach the best First Aid classes I can to help you feel empowered with the knowledge and skills you need to respond in any emergency. I deeply value the responsibility of teaching these skills so that every student leaves confident in their ability to help.

It is a pleasure to serve my community and province in a way that I believe benefits everyone and can even potentially save lives! - Aynsley Wagner, Red Cross Instructor
